Boardwalk Inn

This was my first trip to The Boardwalk Inn. The entire Inn smelled so good when you walked in! The staff were friendly and professional. Parking was great! Many amenities for shopping and dining. You should give them a try you will not be disappointed. Oh, and Did I mention the King size bed is amazing! Thank you Boardwalk Inn for a great stay!

My wife and I made a two-day getaway to the Boardwalk Inn in Kemah. The room seemed fine except that the toilet was running intermittently. I reported it and the maintenance man was there promptly the next morning. Unfortunately, he was not able to solve the problem. I did, however, receive a call from Jessica, the manager, who graciously offered to move us next door to a beautiful two-room Suite at no additional charge. There was an adjoining door so all we had to do was move our things between rooms at our convenience since our original room would not be rented again until the toilet was repaired or replaced. The Suite was wonderful, we could enjoy the band playing on the plaza from our balcony, and we enjoyed our second night there very much. To top things off, I believe that this was

The hotel entrance is on the second floor of the boardwalk. You will not find any signage telling you this. The hotel is also tucked away in a corner and is difficult to find in the dark never having been there before. The room Plaza King was good sized and had a good view of the boardwalk and the heat/AC worked as it should. The toilet was the shortest one I've ever seen. I honestly did not know they were made that small. I am 6'7", getting on and off of that tiny thing sucked. None of the employees we dealt with were happy, nor did they seem to want to be there. I guess the hotel location- the only hotel actually on the boardwalk- is supposed to be sufficient enough by itself. We were as happy to leave as we were to arrive.

Positive: Amusements and food was great but very expensive! Negative: Ice machines didn't make good ice.Soda vending machines did not work or was sold out the entire 3 days we were there, had to leave the premises to get drinks.

A wonderful experience for my first (not last) trip to Kemah. Off-site condo was wonderful. Customer service was on point; servicing request without a hundred questions. Also corrected minor mistake and made up for it via their wonderful customer service. Hated to leave.
