School House Bed and Breakfast C.1859

Carrier the proprietor was wonderful! We felt welcomed and well looked after for the weekend we stayed. The Schoolhouse itself is beautiful! The room was modern and clean! Our breakfast both days was delicious and the pastries were amazing. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed in the Librarian's loft and it was superb - cozy beds; warm fireplace; clean; interesting books all around! Carrie was an amazing host and chef as the breakfast (and Latte) was DELICIOUS. I am vegetarian and my family isn't and she made sure to have something for everyone. We checked in early and were able to let ourselves in through great email instructions. The location was excellent - a few minutes walk to King Street (where we had dinner twice) and Queen Street (great shopping) - as well as the Lake. We were able to have breakfast at the end of the breakfast hour which meant less people in the dining area which we preferred. Cookies, tea, coffee, chocolate and drinks were such a nice touch in the main entry area. So glad we chose this place and would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely stellar place to explore Niagara - can't praise highly enough. Room was amazing (Housemaster suite) with a great loft area with a very comfortable bed. Location is amazing, with easy strolling through town while the falls and historical sites are all a quick drive away. Best part by far is the breakfast experience though - host is so very kind and accommodating, and each breakfast was delicious and just the right level of filling to start the day. Would highly highly recommend!

My friend and I stayed here and absolutely adored it. The room was quaint with a delightful fireplace and the owners were great. We needed to leave before breakfast and they made us a breakfast box to go. It is located a few minutes from all the shoppes and restaurants. I highly recommend it! Loved all the little touches like the cookies, drinks, and cookies

my fiancée and i had an amazing long weekend getaway at the school house! carrie was a pleasant and gracious host and was very communicative and easy to reach throughout our stay. the space itself was beautiful - elegant old world interior, but with all the conveniences and amenities you would want in a modern accommodation. we loved the fire place in our room and the candle warmer in the dining room - so cozy and welcoming, especially given the winter weather when we stayed. breakfast was simple, delicious, and nourishing - the perfect way to start a day of exploring the local area. we loved our stay and can’t wait to come back in the summer with some friends!
