Grand Victorian

We were married here one year ago and had the best experience. Eva and her staff are so unbelievably welcoming. The Grand Victorian is very clean and cozy and full of charm. Breakfast in the morning has many choices and beautifully created and displayed. The wrap around porch is perfect for morning coffees or evening wine sipping. The rooms are all very spacious, each with its own perks and private bathrooms. We stay in the porch room which is a great space to wind down in. We look forward to going back every year. Thank you again for opening up your beautiful home for so many to enjoy.

We stayed here for 3 nights on a super quick get away and our complaint is that we wish had had more time. The house is beautiful, breakfast was fantastic, and the owners and staff are wonderful. We stayed in the river room which was comfortable and beautiful like the rest of the house. The sitting area outside the rooms with a huge variety of coffees, teas, and treats was such a nice touch. A great place to sit and relax and enjoy. There is also sitting ares on the main level which are great to spend some time and drink some wine. If your lucky the owners and the dogs will be around to visit with as well. ||The house is clean, comfortable, and welcoming and we could not have asked for a better homebase while exploring Niagara falls and Niagara on the lake.||We did a tasting at the winery

A step back in time, what a beautiful restored Victorian house. We only stayed one night and wished we would have had more time there. The breakfast was wonderful, and we loved sitting on the grand front porch and enjoying the sunset. The Inn is in an ideal location close to everything. Eva and staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved Eva and loved meeting her two "puppies". We will be back for another visit.

We spent a night at the Grand Vic courtesy of our children, to celebrate our anniversary. We really aren't B&B people....we thought we would feel a little uncomfortable in a stranger's home but we are converts after a night in this gorgeous home. We kind of felt like we were staying at Downton Abbey! The owner, Eva Kessel has done an exquisite job of restoring this beautiful mansion from the 1860s. We were the only guests for the night and when we arrived we were given a tour and invited to choose any of the 6 rooms It was difficult as they are all beautifully appointed and furnished with period pieces. There is a card in every room describing the objects in the room and where they came from. Eva was not in when we arrived but we were welcomed by Ana and given a room key and key to

Steps from the Niagara river and adjacent to the Rief Estate winery, this is the ideal location to stay in Niagara on the Lake. Only a 5 minute drive to the main street. Walking into the Grand Victorian feels like you’re stepping back in time. Fun to explore everything this house has to offer. So many places to sit and relax while reading a book or drinking a glass of wine. Nice and relaxing setting.||Breakfast was excellent and they accommodated my wife’s dietary needs with gluten free options. ||Stayed in the Porch room and it was excellent. Loved the cards in the room explaining where all the decorations came from. The porch area is a nice and relaxing area to wind down.||Two bikes are available for free which was a pleasant surprise! There’s also a swimming pool but did not use it.
