SBV Luxury Ocean Hotel Suites

We're supposed to arrive tomorrow for 10 days, but around midnight we got a text saying the city of miami shut the building down, and turned off the power. The building is now deemed UNINHABITABLE. Nobody is allowed in. Waiting to hear from management however they did say they'll give us a full refund, so that's nice of them. Im sure we would've had a great stay here!

First of all, that may be clear on what you are getting yourself into. This is not a hotel. This is an individually owned condo that has absolutely no services to offer. There is no receptionist, no check-in desk and no one you can call for anything. The only way to communicate is via text. You text to check in you text them your ID, you text them your credit card for your damage deposit. And that’s just the beginning.||After over an hour of trying to figure out how to get into our room with the security person in the lobby that hardly knew what she was doing…We finally figured out we had to very clearly read the instructions that are sent to you when you book this “suite”. That was our first mistake. Make sure you read and understand everything on how to access this room. ||There were fou

The Miami Beach hotel has been closed by the city. No one from SBV let me know even though they had my email address. Nice. I found out the hard way, out of the blue. Plus I pre-paid and had to book another hotel nearby. Scam.

Do NOT STAY HERE!!!! They have no way of communication. I couldn’t talk to anyone and the guy at the front desk didn’t know anything about my reservation he said they were privately owned. I was only able to speak through text message. I left my speaker in the bed as we had to rush to airport this was an expensive speaker. I text the number i had been communicating with and nobody would respond… i called & left a message & no response. I also called and talked to someone who said they would pass on the message and have someone call me.., that never happened either. I just bought that speaker that day & i know i left it in there but yet NOBODY will respond. Booked August 2025 for end of October. Received confirmation of check in a couple days before reservation date. Took uber from airport only to find out the building is closed down in September with no notification despite having my contact info. No one is onsite to assist. Manager is unreachable and customer service reps are unable to assist. DO NOT BOOK
