Sanibel Sunset Beach Inn

Great location! Room was nice and clean. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful with check in process and location of room and with all the amenities. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, bikes with helmets the pool was huge with a view of the Gulf as were all the rooms. Complementary breakfast, juice and coffee. Danish, bagels granola bars, easy to go stuff. You can put all your food goodies in paper bag to take back to your room. It was a great place, reccomend it for sure.

This resort is absolutely perfect for a relaxed beach vacation. The proximity to the beach can’t be understated. Our (screened) balcony was only feet from the beach. It was a perfect place to cool off. Lounges and umbrellas are set up by staff. Kayaks and bicycles easily borrowed. The sister properties also have amenities that can be used. The room had everything - two double beds, a lounge chair with ottoman, a fully supplied kitchen, and a lovely bathroom supplied with hygiene items. The pick up breakfast is perfect - bagels, pastries, cereal, yugurt, assorted milk and juices. The staff was hugely accommodating. I loved the ease of communication with texting. It was a perfect stay!

Street appeal, location, customer service all great! Just got here today (6/4/22) at 5 pm (left time because I can’t remember the lady at the front desk, it’s her shift and she’s great and should be recognized!) and so far so good! Rooms are clean with a nice kitchenette meeting all cooking needs. Pool is nice, beach is great, in couple of hours in the EVENING we found several great shells!

This hotel was everything!! It’s located right off the beach. I went with my mom and my two daughters. We stayed in the two bedroom suite. My mom had a bedroom and bathroom to herself which was perfect! The rooms are very well insulated which I definitely appreciated. My mom snores very loudly and I didn’t hear a thing even with only her bedroom door closed and ours opened. Even though it is a beach front property, everything was very clean. It was great that we could use the kayaks and paddle boards on sites as well as the beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. We stayed for 4 nights and never had any issues parking. Breakfast was really good too! And I liked that I could just text the front desk for more towels or with any questions. My only complaint is the living room air condition

We live 30 minutes away but with a young family, Sanibel is the ultimate family staycation. We go every year and sometimes twice a year. We typically stay a Seaside inn one of the sister hotels, but I noticed the Sunset Beach inn was significantly cheaper. Since I love this company, I figured we would save the money and stay here. Honestly all of the hotels are rustic no matter how much you pay. This place has free use of tennis courts, bikes, kayaks, bocce and not to mention right on the beach and beachfront pool. Yes the pool needs renovations but the view is incredible. Our room was HUGE, was it fancy? No but clean and 250 for a huge room compared to 400 for the sister hotel.. I'll stay here everytime.
