Sanibel Inn

Beautiful grounds right on the beach where they provide umbrella and loungers. All new clean and beautiful rooms (post Ian). Room is not huge but enough and nice, screened deck. Full fridge and micro but very small kitchen counter. Also small closet. Front lobby is 24 hours and has some supplies. Pool is nice and bar offered good service, lunch and drinks. Restaurant on property (separately owned) also offered good food, service and drinks.

We had a pleasant stay, and the room was nice. However I feel like some of the staff there are dresses too casually. One read haired woman from management was wearing a short skirt that you could see her her underwear through and white blouse that was see through also. Essentially just a short skirt and a bra, since the top was so transparent. I felt inappropriate and attention seeking. We're not paying these prices to be around that, it feels inappropriate. Maybe the owners will see this and consider a dress code. Beautiful place and great service otherwise. But we will look into a different hotel for our next stay, and ask the managers about appropriate staff attire.

Would absolutely book another stay, but for a week at least. We are staying here because my in-laws are local so we’re only here 2 nights. I’m not sure where to begin. The grounds are stunning, the rooms are comfortable and a good size. We have are in a 2 bedroom condo with a full kitchen. Most everything is new the decor and appliances, etc. We had booked the wrong size room. The staff at the front desk were more than accommodating and resolved our error very quickly, we couldn’t have asked for more. Dante’s Peak restaurant was fabulous. We had 6 people for dinner all ordered something different. Each of us enjoyed our meals immensely. They have easy access to beach. They have a pool with a restaurant right there for lunch. Definitely worth the stay!

Positive: Beautiful grounds and loved the flowers. Seeing the gulf. You have done a great job in making the hotel a wonderful place. Negative: The bed was not comfortable. It was lumpy and we both fell in toward the middle. Needs better support.

Absolutely phenomenal stay ! Room service comes in daily and cleans your room,makes your bed , restocks your coffee , tea and creamer , takes the trash out and provides clean linens. The entire resort is clean and spotless. Everyone is so kind and the drinks and food at the Tiki hut are out of this world. Beach is clean and gorgeous ! The patio has a gorgeous spacious screened in sitting area with tables and chairs. We loved our time here! Staff is super nice and they also provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Razors , toothbrush and toothpaste, mouth wash , sewing kits , brushes, deodorant , etc if needed as well.
