Sandy Point Motel

David and Daniella are excellent hosts. Very responsive to requests and provide useful insight about good places for kayaking and hiking. The motel rooms are very clean with a beautiful view of Long Lake. The beach is a set of stairs away from the motel. Great for chilling on the dock or provided chairs. Fire pit and wood for burning. Our third year here and we will book again.

I have to say that mywife and I found our perfect vacation spot. From the second we arrived until we left we were thoroughly impressed and loved everything about the place. It started with our hosts Daniela and David. They were awesome and my wife and I felt like we had known the for 20 years. They always had a smile and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Dave even offered to help me launch my boat and bring it to the dock, as well as retreive it when our stay was done. that saved me a lot of work. The accomodations were amazing and were very private, with our screened in porch. we never shut our slider the whole time we were there. Then there was their private beach which was raked every day. Nice clean room. Ours had two double beds, walk-in shower, kitchenette, beautiful view and nice hosts too. We were desperate for a place to stay, it was getting late and we just drove down from Canada. We were exhausted. We saw Sandy Point and pulled in. What a nice find! We would absolutely stay here again. With a nice beach and loons singing on the lake you will be happy you discovered this place. Enjoy your stay!!

Very clean rooms, very nice owner/couple and a beautiful view. What more could you ask for? An old style roadside motel. No glitz and glamour but a quiet relaxing night. They will welcome you like old friends.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandy Point. The rooms were very clean and have been updated but maintain the vintage feel of an Adirondack motel. Even the porch furniture looks vintage but seems almost new. The owners were charming and helpful.
