Motel Long Lake & Cottages

Motel Long Lake is of our favorite places to visit as a family in both summer for swimming/boating and winter for snowmobiling! The location is awesome and so close (you can walk) to restaurants and stores, but still feels very secluded and private. We’ve stayed in a few different cabins and they are all cozy, clean and well equipped. We just stayed in The Great Camp and our whole family wanted to move in! The owners are so nice and attentive and do a great job maintaining the property. This place is as good as it gets if you are looking for a home away from home in adk!

My parents have spoken highly of this place for a while now. After my first visit, I completely understand why. We stayed in a cottage for a winter family trip and it was perfect. The space was spotless, well-presented, and kept lovely and warm despite the cold outside. It was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals. The hosts made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!

We came for a winter wonderland and it did not disappoint. Firstly, we were upgraded for free to a 3 bedroom chalet overlooking long lake. The chalet itself is beautiful. Its spacious but still has the feel of a cabin in the woods. Waking up in the morning to a frozen lake and snowy mountains is a dream.

We had an absolutely spectacular time staying at Cottage 10 from August 16-21, 2025. The hosts were incredibly kind and helped us sort out an issue with our booking, and we ended up staying in a duplex cottage. It was quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. Music was playing when we entered the room, the rooms were delightful and very comfortable. We kept the windows open most of the time we were there because of the weather, quiet, and comfort. ||I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. We will back back again next year -- this time to explore the Long Lake area more. My son caught a 35-inch pike off the nearby dock, we all enjoyed paddling in a canoe, and we especially appreciated the hospitality. See you again next year!

Several years ago we stayed in the motel section which we loved. We saw the cabins then and always wanted to come back and stay in a cabin. This was our first getaway, just as a couple, since our kids have all flown the nest. It was the best experience. Cabin was clean, bed super comfy, and the screened in porch on the lake just so peaceful with breath taking views. Everything was there that you would need, houseware wise. Ate in for some meals, went out for others. We made a fire a few nights which was just so relaxing. Loved everything about our cabin. We will definitely be coming back. The staff was helpful whenever we had a question. You will not be disappointed by experiencing your visit to Motel Long Lake. Enjoy!
