Sands Motel

The rooms are cute BUT 90$ for a rock hard bed is ridiculous. My back is killing me. I have pains shooting down my leg. The rest of my trip is ruined. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I was looking for an inexpensive, comfortable place to stay. I found it here after it had been recommended to me. It is just now under new management. I have to say the service n kindness was 5 stars. SO helpful. I slept really well. Enjoyed the tv too. But this place has character, it is like the old style American motels, made famous in the Hitchcock thriller ‘Psycho’ (don’t let that put you off!). They are upgrading it as work was going on there. It is really rather enchanting. I did a little research and guess what..Elvis Presley stayed there.. true!! In fact I think that was the room they were renovating. That’s some history. I wish them well for their future adventure.. thank you xx

Could be better but I prefer a simpler motel with a vintage touch

Just there two days ago, my husband and I were just to tired to look elsewhere. The room was nice. We reserved online and we were given a price of $46 and they said they don't honor that okay 👌 coffee I asked for a coffee pot and and it was dusty as for the coffee the older man got out there folgers coffee and scooped into a plastic cup.. now wait it gets better ICE I asked for where is the ice machine and it's in the office 👍 well he proceeds to put ice in my ice bucket and uses his own damn hands!!! Never again
