Quality Inn & Suites Grants - I-40

After a long day on the road, raining hard and didn’t want to push on farther to Gallup….we should have pushed on. This was a disappointment for a Choice Brand Hotels. Front desk area seems to be the only thing updated in decades. Room and remaining hotel is way past its prime. Front desk said it was recently sold, but as I now read, several months ago were the same concerns as we had. Side entry door does not lock, safety and security concerns, room was in rough shape, breakfast was out of stock on many items.

Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, bed and pillows were very comfortable, room was comfortable and very spacious, also very clean, had a great dinner nearby. Disappointed the hot tub jets were not working, rowdy teenagers were jumping and splashing unattended in the pool, breakfast was mediocre, concerning that the side security door does not close at all.Overall got a great night sleep during a long trip driving a moving truck which was the most important thing to me, would stay there again.

Yall hit the jackpot with Delroy! Amazing employee very nice and very attentive!!! We only stayed one night but I had to leave a review about his amazing service!! Greeted us in the morning and was attentive with everyone! And refilled the coffee and kept clean all around!

The stinkiest, most dilapidated hotel we've ever stayed in. One outlet had no plate around it, another was crooked. Carpet was so old and smelly we didn't want to walk on it without socks or shoes. Tiles in the bathroom looked "new" but many had broken pieces. Walls and ceilings appeared to have water damage that was painted over, the side entrance key reader was broken so they propped it open with a rock. When it was closed you had to walk around to lobby entrance to get to the room, along the smelly hallways. Room door had to be forced open and closed. Not just our room. Another guest complained in the hallway that she could never get in her door. Doorbell sign was crooked. Fake plant in the hallway was thickly coated in dust. The hotel overall is run down. Not very clean. Floors throughout need to be cleaned. The door to our room was extremely hard to open and shut. My husband had to let me in and out of the room. You have to lift up on the door and pull or push to get it to open. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was as expected.
