Sandcastle At Birch Bay

Absolutely stunning resort right on the bay. They have an amazing fitness center with heated pool and hot tub. They also have a terrace deck for beautiful sunsets, and everyone is super friendly. Great restaurants and bars with live music nearby, and beautiful wooded hiking trails right from the property. Absolutely love this place.

I've stayed in many hotels, but none, 0, as good as the sandcastle. Largely because the staff here is the best of the best. Trust me, the best staff, the best people are here. Sunnee,Lacey, blake are the bestest. Always go here. The staff is amazing can't brag enough. Sunnee especially makes our stay just truly memorable

The resort is in a good location, right across the beach in a bay. It has a restaurant on the ground floor, which plays really loud music on Friday and Saturday nights until very late. We didn't eat there because honestly, it didn't look very "inspiring". There are other good places in Blaine, 15 minutes North of Birch Bay. The apartment was ok, in dire need of a refresher. The furniture old and beds very soft. There is no AC, just a fan, but we didn't really need it, the weather wasn't too hot. Overall pretty clean, except the bathrooms. They could have used a deep cleaning. Kitchen not a lot to offer, but sufficient to cook breakfast and light dinner/lunch. Parking lot is a little weird, half paved, half dirt. The staff is pleasant. Beautiful bay overlooking pool and nice hotel. Clean , comfortable with coffee at reception area. BBQ area top floor which we didn't use , nice to have.The location near restaurants and convenience store about mile away.

Really lovely stay. Would’ve loved to have had a list or guidance about where to eat or pick up provisions.
