Beachcomber RV Park at Birch Bay

Very pleasant stay. Made reservations with Sue in Canada left message and she promptly called back. Chris and Dee are the caretakers and treated us very well-accommodating all our needs with guest parking passes, information re: area and very clean sites. The rules re: quiet times are strictly enforced and absolutely no problem - people partying until 11 P.M. which is very reasonable. We have stayed there before and much cleaner now. It is an R.V. park not a hotel.

We had to find a RV Park because we missed out on the State park where we had been going crabbing for at least 20 years. We were traveling as a vacationing family (5 RV) group. Sue was very accommodating. She pleasantly answered all our requests. The CG (Chris) host was friendly, and helpful. We were advised of the rules and regs before hand. We adhered to them and all went well. The family voted (unanimously) to use this park again. We secured our reservations coming up again this year, happily so. We crab for about 5 days and relax for 5 days.

We have traveled many years in our coach and in all our years we have Never encountered such unpleasant untrustworthy individuals ever!!||From making the reservations to unloading supplies into your vehicle. ourselves and fellow campers were constantly threatened with fines. ||Shocking! ||We are elderly and never have any problems!||But, the last 3 years have been intolerable. Our family came to visit one evening and drove in to see where we were in the park, my husband immediately directed them to the parking area, a few minutes later the caretaker walked over and said we had been fined because we did not obey park rules. 😳. ||And then we received a very harsh phone call from sue the reservationist.||Once she let my husband speak and he explained our guests did not even get out of the

I have never been treated with such little respect. If you stay here for a few nights they’re happy to take your money and leave you alone. If you want to stay longer make sure you’re asleep by 10pm or the manager on site will start finding things he can fine you for. And if he can’t find anything he’ll start making things up. If given the choice between staying here or a rest stop I’d stay in the rest stop. A lot less stress and chaos! Definitely would not recommend it!

Do not camp here, the park host is absolutely crazy and on crack! She is hostile from the very beginning, it was the worst experience we have ever had, she was aggressive towards my kids and grandkids, she called the sheriffs office on us and tried to have us kicked out because I told her to stay away from my kids and get off our site, she was lingering around our campsite at 11 o’clock listening to our conversation, it’s was the strangest most uncomfortable experience ever. She and her relatives live on site full time and they are 😜! Complete nuts! It’s not safe and they will make sure to try to kick you out early but keep your money, we left a day early just because it’s was so bad! She would stand and scream at us threatening us constantly harassing us until we would just go inside
