San Juan Hotel South Beach

We ended up staying at the San Juan Hotel after a relocation, and I’m so glad we did. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Miami Beach and easy to get everywhere. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made a stressful travel day so much better. The quaint little pool area was a hidden gem — sheltered from the wind and a perfect place to relax or get a little work done while enjoying complimentary coffee. Plus, the beach location was well equipped with loungers, umbrellas, towels, and more. Breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were comfortable — not large, but absolutely everything we needed. Overall, a charming hotel with great service and a peaceful vibe. Would happily stay here again.

The good parts, the hotel is in a prime location and the concession it has with a nearby beach sunlounger provider is superb and saved us $50 a day. The bed was big and very comfortable. The hotel is tired and shabby and the 4 star rating is fantasy. The breakfast provided is abysmal, a desperately unattractive row of options in a glass case which are microwaved in a back room and presented on paper plates with plastic cups and cutlery. We only went once. We passed reception 6 times a day and never got a single word of greeting. It was so depressing we left 4 days early having paid up front. The owners /managment have lost enthusiasm and interest and it shows.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel, it is in the heart of South Beach. We found the San Juan to be very clean, comfortable and friendly—a tremendous value for our money. This is not a fancy hotel and the walls are a little thin, but we found the room to be extremely comfortable and quiet at night. If you want proximity to the beach (it’s across the street!) without breaking the bank, this is your place!

I loved everything, very good location and service. A little nuance: the pool area is quite small, there are often wasn’t enough sun-beds for all guests.

(english is my second langage) We have been really well welcomed at 0h30 in the night. The stayed was great. The team there is amazing. Very helping. At the end, they let us put our luggages in their locker room for the day ! Its very helpfull when you have3 kids and have to wait the entire day until your cruise goes. So thanks to all the tean there and see you very soon hopefully 😃
