San Damiano Lodging & Retreat Center

A beautiful area tucked away on the bluffs of the Ohio River. Affordable and clean, the staff were very accommodating. Some of the cabins advertise WiFi but don't count on it to be dependable, it's a good time to unplug. Also, it seems they can book up quickly, we hoped to stay another night when the cabin was still available for that date less than 24 hrs prior but by the time we got there it had been booked. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back, maybe even this season!

When I saw a friend post about this beautiful, serene spot alongside the Ohio River, I knew I wanted to visit there myself. San Damiano has become my new favorite place to visit close to home. Our rooms are always nice, with the deck being our favorite place to hang out. The view of the sun rising over the Ohio is spectacular! The short hike to the bluffs below is a bonus. Love this place!

My family loves going to San Damiano and enjoying the relaxing getaway on the river. The view is absolutely stunning it is the perfect way to wake up in the morning.

The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was very roomy. The jacuzzi was great after hiking and seeing the beautiful scenery. Nothing like having coffee looking at the rolling hills and mist. We're glad we came. We're already planning our next trip again.

We really enjoy this property, and we always leave smiling! The golf carts were a great addition this visit. We rented one for the day, and took it down to the river a couple of times! We stayed in a unit that had a full kitchen, and we had everything we needed! The views are always outstanding, and this is one of the most peaceful places we have ever stayed. The rec center is also an added bonus!
