River Roost Lodging

Came in for a last minute weekend getaway and found this spot. It was perfect for heading to Amish Country, sightseeing and hiking. Extremely clean, perfect size for a couple with room for more if necessary. Well furnished. If we come back to the area we would definitely consider staying again.

Stayed in lodge #1 and EVERYTHING was great. The process of getting the unit for the night was very easy| The unit was clean, quaint and an absolute bargain! My daughters live in Golconda and I will 100% stay here again....5 stars!!

Fantastic rental experience. Tammy was helpful and accommodating. Beautiful, friendly little town. Close to Shawnee and blocks from the Ohio River. Right across the street from a 200 year old cemetery with a lot of history (Civil War Graves).

We stayed in lodge #2. It was wonderful, the two bedrooms provided space for us and the grandsons, the kitchen/living room area was large enough for us all to gather and play games. The decor was tastefully done. It was very clean and even with it near a main roadway it was quite. Will stay again.

We decided a last minute family vacation and found this hidden treasure!! Everything was perfect; from the location to the restaurants to the cute decor and the convenience of the owners letting us stay a day early at the last minute & coming in late evening to all the fun stuff to do in the area!! Kids loved it and so did we ❤️ Thanks for the great memories 💕We will definitely be staying here again!!!
