Salt Hotel & Event Space

The Salt Hotel is a hidden gem. I randomly came across this hotel looking for a quiet work getaway with my dog and loved it so much I extended my trip. Nestled up against a picturesque marina, Salt Hotel is an oasis with a surf hostel energy. I stayed during winter season and while the office staff was remote half of my stay, they are incredibly friendly and communicable via text. I reserved a lovely sauna session, spent evenings in the beautifully lit courtyard garden with my dog, and walked the greenway along the marina, basking in the serenity Ilwaco brings. Rooms are smaller and very cute and comfortable. I had everything I needed for my 4 night stay. I appreciated having control of the room temperature as temps dropped at night. I really enjoyed my stay at Salt Hotel & Pub. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food at the pub was delicious. The only thing I wish I knew (not necessarily a complaint) was that my room was dog friendly. I may have missed reading that somewhere. I could smell it as soon as I walked in. I love dogs, although I haven’t had one for a while now. Maybe a room air freshener would help some? Especially on rainy days, which are quite frequent in WA. The bed was comfortable along with the pillows. Thank you for a great stay and I would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time staying at Salt Hotel & Pub, it was wonderful! We were happy with our room and amenities. The hotel had a cute gift shop and the pub served excellent food! Everything we had was soooo good! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a great time and are so happy we found this spot for future getaways.

My partner and I had a great one night stay here. Our pet sitter fell through at the last minute and we brought our dog along hoping they could accommodate us and they did without issue. The room was clean and updated. There is a cute little pub in the hotel with great views of the marina. It’s also super close to everything. We will definitely stay here again.

We often go to the Salt Pub when we are on Long Beach Peninsula. This time we stayed at the hotel. We went to the Crab Pot Christmas Tree lighting and the hotel was in a perfect location for that. We ate dinner in the pub and as always it was good. Our room was a queen overlooking the courtyard and was clean and nice. The bed was comfortable. The price and the ability to book for one night made it perfect choice for us.
