Sallisaw Inn

All the internet sites were $51. They charged $90! Too tired to argue so paid it, just to find TV had constant white streaks like rain on every channel, and NO hot water! I hate liars & crooks that's exactly what they are to lie about their rates & turn water temp to barely warmish. Sofa in the room was disgusting & filthy too. New flooring looks ok, but is ultra cheap self stick vinyl tiles. Horrible place! And I hardly ever leave bad reviews.

I needed a place to stay coming back from my trip out west. I wanted to hit Ft. Smith in the morning, so I stayed the night in Sallisaw. I'm very pleased I stayed here. This building is a classic motorist hotel design but I can assure you from my previous 6 nights on the road, that they are going above and beyond at this place with the upkeep, quality, and security. Everything, every amenity in my room, worked as it should. Even the newer hotel chains aren't doing that. My only knock is that there is no breakfast in the morning, and if you leave early you'll have to drop your room key in the slot. There's no check-out process or receipt. But there's plenty of good places in town to eat and the room price is appropriate for what you get.

I was passing through the town and decided to check out this hotel as i was tired but as soon as I opened the office door it smelled like weed.The owners were sitting in the office area and gave me a very strange look from top to bottom which was very unwelcoming and then said “yes” instead of greeting. The room i saw was moldy,old and reeks of cigarette smoking and on top of everything they wanted about $80 bucks for that room,even though I was tired decided to continue driving to van buren,AR and found some way better choices.

Room was clean, quiet. Bed comfortable. Nice large room. Appeared to be recently updated. Staff were friendly. I would stay here again.

Clean, simple accommodation. Staff was kind and helpful. Room was adequate. Modest complimentary coffee supplies and toiletries (unbranded coffee pouches, small packets of unbranded shampoo, and small soap bars) were fine for one person for one night. If you're staying longer or have multiple people with you, ask for extras. HVAC unit was clean and worked as expected. Furniture was also modest but in good condition. Mattress was little on the firm side compared to other places I've stayed but not uncomfortable. Clothes hanging rack was noticeably aged but functional. Location was convenient to the interstate yet somewhat secluded with just a small local cafe/restaurant next door. Quiet area, felt safe. Was better than I expected for the price. Would stay again.
