Americas Best Value Inn Sallisaw

Got here very late and the night check-in was OK. The bed was firm and the room was clean. The staff was accommodating, as I had requested that they remove the bedding, which they did before my arrival. The shower worked great. The area is quiet except for a train track that I heard once or twice before falling to sleep. The hotel is older and difficult to find after dark, but a great price for a good night's sleep. Used to be a Day's Inn based on my conversation with the staff.

am a contracted Network Engineer for a large company, and I travel frequently. I had just finished up at one of our sites on Friday, and I wasn't supposed to need to be at the next site until Tuesday. I thought that Sallisaw would be a good place to rest, and be out long before checkout time on Monday to leisurely make my way to OKC for the next job. I booked two nights at this motel, and I checked in Sunday afternoon. The place wasn't terribly clean, but the young lady behind the counter was friendly enough. The facility had made a few half-hearted attempts at making the place ADA accessible, and the room had a musty smell, but as a contractor I have stayed in worse. I've had much cleaner rooms. Staff was surly. One of the beds was broken. Housekeeping was in the room every day but did little to freshen it. No additional soap or shampoo. No fresh shower cap. We stayed 3 days and had to ask for fresh towels. Price was reasonable, if only the service had also been reasonable.

I'm not one to gripe about my hotel stays, especially if its just one night but this place was the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. There were bugs smashed in the walls as well as splatters of god knows what. The pillows were vile. Stained with what looked to me as possible urine. The towels were nasty and when we went to get our showers the water was BROWN. It didn't run through and turn back clear either. It stayed BROWN. We requested a non-smoking room and as soon as we opened the door smoke was all we could smell. If we hadn't been kept up all night worried about the nastiness of it we were kept up by the people outside and the cops sirens every 30 minutes. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Honestly I stayed here when it was called ABVI and the owners at that time wasn't good or great owners at all. The wife of the male owner was to joules of female customer so she was so unperfsunal and very very rude to female guest that she told me that I could never rent a room there again but then told my partner that he/she still could rent there. SORRY NOT SORRY I do believe if I'm not welcome then neither is my partner. Honestly the old owner's liked switching partner's and that's nasty SORRY NOT SORRY Hun I dang sure don't want your man
