Days Inn by Wyndham Sallisaw

First off, it's not a Days Inn, false advertising it's a Quality brand hotel and they stink! Don't use these Choice Hotel chains, horrible for cleanliness. Had to get owners or staff to clean bathrooms, there was hair and public hair in the tubs in both rooms. It was disgusting!! And the hair dryer was split in the plug so when we turned it on, it sparked. There is definitely no quality control after the rooms are cleaned or should say, not cleaned. Trash in the rooms, sheets had stuff on them as well as hair and not vacuumed either. It took 4 attempts to get a decent room and they still had to clean the bathroom because of hair. At almost $100 w/taxes for each room, you think you would receive a clean room. So, after checking about 8 rooms and they were that bad, be very careful with the

For the price, it was pretty sufficient. No bugs, smells were not very pungent or stinky .Water pressure and heat were great, bed clothes were stained a little, but definitely clean. Breakfast was pretty minimal, and early, but it worked. Best part about our stay was AMANDA at the front desk. She was so sweet and accommodating, also helpful and informed me about the rewards program. Thank you so much!

There are some pros and cons to staying here. The pros were that the room smelled decent it was relatively clean all the trash was empty and the bathroom and towels were clean including the toilet. The refrigerator and the microwave in the room were also serviceable and clean. Our first night the sheets were not clean and it appeared that someone who's pretty hairy slept in them. We slept on top of the blankets. The second night our sheets were clean. The room remained well made up........the cons: I did try the continental breakfast Saturday morning the second day and unfortunately the juice machine was putting out almost water the coffee was okay but a lot of things like the pastry, toast and the scrambled eggs and other items were not refilled when empty. They don't pay their workers enough. Upon hiring the guy will ask if you want to be paid per room or per hour. It's all a lie and a scam to get you to take the job. He ONLY pays his room cleaners per room and doesn't pay them for laundry or other services they have to do. There is a reason he only pays them per room. Stingy and greedy man. If you visit here be considerate on how they may treat their workers. I know way too many teenagers and adults who have tried to work there and he gave them 3rd world wages for the entire week so they quit.

Where to start... We stayed here last weekend while in town for a wedding. Here are a list of issues that we had: - There is an AWFUL smell of sewage in the stair wells and in the hallway. - Somehow $46/ night turned into 150 for 2 days. Unsure how and I was exhausted and wanted to go to bed. - The first room they put me in had filthy sheets. Instead of changing the sheets, they moved me across the hall to a room that appeared to be cleaner. - Parking is a nightmare. There is a super sketchy gas station right next door and I ended up having to park behind it as there was nothing in the hotel's lot. - The elevator is broken. - The smoke detector, if it was even installed, was covered by what appeared to be a piece of plastic.
