Salem / Lisbon KOA Holiday

Salem is by far one of our most favorite campgrounds to visit! Barb is an absolute sweetheart and her son is a great man and very nice and respectful. This place is a great place to come and relax. They have ALOT for the kids to do as well they put on a lot of events for kids and adults. If you have not been here come check it out! You will NOT regret it!

We chose this camp because of proximity of Greenway bike path. The camp is well-run. Staff and person running camp were very friendly and helpful. A staff person even took the time to drive us with our bikes to the trailhead of the bike path (we have a class c so moving it after setting up camp is inconvenient). The little restaurant / office area is pleasant and they have more food choices than other KOA's we have visited. Clean bathrooms / showers. We recommend!

Location for us is amazingly close to camp! The pool lifeguard was very attentive and friendly. The pool was a great temperature for a hot evening. My 5 year old son had a blast playing with other kids. There was almost a pretty awesome water slide my son was able to climb and slide with out assistance. The music was nice in the background my daughter was dancing and laughing as she was ready to go.

We came later off the Greenway by bike, guess we looked tired. The staff was very quick to take care of us. Delivering firewood, pizza, and wings to our site by the time we had camp setup. There was a festival with music across the pond from our tent site. If you are a hammock camper, you have an excellent selection of trees to hang off of. Over all a great experience.

This is a wonderful camp for an overnight stop or for an extended stay. There is no need to go into an exhaustive list of amenities, it’s what rving is and what most rvers are looking for. When in the area it’s a “ can’t miss “. This is simply one of the parks that will exceed your expectations if you are looking to rest, relax and rejuvenate.
