Sahara Motel

I love giving 5 stars to places but unfortunately am not able to with this one. Room had a funky smell and bed had some kind of plastic cover over the mattress which made us sweaty. I can overlook the age of the hotel. The room was small with a kitchenette. Bathroom was very small and shower was even smaller although good hot water. No shampoo/conditioner. The woman at the front desk was super nice. Paid $65.

Very nostalgic motel with the sweetest owner, Nancy. Rooms are clean and ours had a little kitchen with full size refrigerator/microwave. The sheets are soft. The beds are firm but not uncomfortable. You absolutely can not beat the price! She has daily, weekly and monthly rates. We never felt unsafe, as mentioned in another review. Another review mentioned, “There isn’t an outlet in the bathroom,” but who cares, use the outlet in the room right beside the full size mirror on the door. You’ll appreciate and enjoy this place as long as you don’t expect a “Hilton” atmosphere. We will return without a doubt.

6 miles round trip to Wally world, no problem with a bicycle very peaceful and good weekly rate, the best motel room I've ever had recently!

Really cute little Motel off historic 80 not far from the I-10. I'd make the trip over here to stay again next time I drive the I-10 this way. The owner is attentive and takes pride in her business. The rooms were dated (this added a bit of carm to the place) but CLEAN! The price was great for a couple just passing though. Kitchen and bathroom of course. And the reviews did not lie about the soft sheets. But Cindy did one better for the guys, my hubby just LOVED the recliners in the rooms! What a way to cater to our hard working men! I want to take a trip to Tombstone very soon just so we can stay here again. They book up fast so call ahead. Unlike many places we called Cindy answered the phone and came out to check us in late. Our stay at this motel was very lovely! Nancy is so sweet and friendly. The sheets were incredibly soft and the pillows were fluffy and soft (just the way I like them). I felt very cozy here! There were also so many things in the room, a mini kitchen (with a stove!), brooms, microwave, TV, etc. I also loved that the room had a screen door. Overall, excellent stay for the money!
