Benson I-10 RV Park

We have nothing but high praise for the staff of this KOA. When weather threatened our tenting experience they voluntarily moved us to a better, safer location. Pool, hot tub and the Kamping sink were all out of service for routine maintenance. It is still the off season in May 2025 so such things are to be expected and none of it impacted the quality of our stay. It means for summer 2025 was to be a better experience for those visiting here. As a reviewer I rather see things out of service because of planned upgrades because it shows the campground is investing in its future.

We’ve stayed at Benson I-10 RV Park at least 3 times in 2025 and are planning another visit (or two) in 2026. I spent some time reading the reviews on Google and was reminded of something I hadn’t thought about in awhile: There are some people you just can’t please. They will find a way to be offended, put off, or angered while also ignoring any responsibility they have from their own actions. Every interaction we’ve had with staff members at this park has either been helpful, informative, or pleasant. As far as other park inhabitants goes, most have been the same. This is, generally speaking, a great little RV park that is well maintained and run. If you begin an interaction by ignoring all the clearly written signs and notices, why would you expect folks to kiss your, uh, hand and treat

Very nice managers who help you to your site and they live in the park. Family friendly and pet friendly park. This is NOT a 55-plus park. |They have dirt sites with cement patios for each one. We had plenty of room between each site and were not on top of each other. The dog park is plenty big for both small and LARGE dogs. It was also clean. |There is no pool or hot tub. They have free WIFI. They do not have cable tv, but we were able to get CBS and NBC on antennae. |We were close to restaurants and fuel stations. It's so easy to get here off the I10 and get back on the next day. |This park DOES NOT have free food of any kind. We didn't see any play ground for kids. The park was nice and quiet. We only saw the railroad tracks on the other side of highway 10, not next to this park.|There

Staff is very friendly. Sites are decent size. Bathroom/showers were nice and clean. Showers have plenty of hot water and decent pressure. They also have a stool and hooks to put your clothing. There is also plenty of room in the shower to put your shampoo etc. Club house with kitchen, puzzles, books, DVDs. Laundry is very inexpensive, $1.25/load. Easy on easy off but a little noisy from the interstate and trains.

This is a really nice park right off the freeway. Very up-to-date. Very clean, very, very helpful, friendly staff. We've been at a lot of parks between San Antonio and here and this is the best so far. And if you keep your receipt, you get a 15% discount at Denny's across the street .Thank you!.
