Sahara Motel

I stayed two weeks, here is my experience ---> very quiet. Clean room. And great price! I will definitely come back again. The owners were very nice and respectful. Thank you for a great experience. - Matthew S.

I was surprised at how nice the room was. It seemed to be recently renovated and it had fresh paint, nice bed, very clean. Good working AC, microwave and fridge. It even had a very clean small pool. The parking is excellent. For the money this place is a great deal. I'll be back.

Okay this is the worst motel we've been to!! We are currently staying here for 3 days, and I'm a 12yr old girl writing this review. Anyway, when we got the room, it looked like a 60s room. Also they said "clean rooms" but HEAR ME OUT on this, The kitchen was outdated, the door had gangster writing on it, bended window, a fly in the bathroom, and when I opened the freaking AC, 2 baby roaches were crawling out!! I personally think this is a roach motel and that they need to update the rooms here. Thx for reading this :)

Hard to give you a sense of the room atmosphere, it's not dirty in the sense you're going to step in old food - but there's marks all over the walls, the tile grout was smeared all over across the face of the tiles etc etc. The furniture is all super old second hand stuff that doesn't match so clearly secondhand. Half the plugs don't work (like the outlets are loose to the point your device plug falls out). Beds were actually fine believe it or not. Peep hole was removed and stuffed with dirty looking paper. Super seedy clientele - there were people hanging out in the parking lot three of the four weeknights I was there until like 1-2am and being loud enough to the point it was hard to sleep (made worse by the thin windows and blinds). Requires a $20 cash deposit to get the remote and the room key. The tv volume doesn’t go up loud enough to hear it while sitting on the bed. The furnishings are VERY old, to the point you don’t want to touch them. There was a dirty sock in the corner. The hairdryer didn’t work. Several places on the walls needed patching. The walls and doors were dirty. No security lock on the door. They charge to get ice from the ice machine. When we checked out at 7am, we had to ring the doorbell 3 times and knock on the door. She looked at us like we were horrible people for checking out so early. No customer service. We are no strangers to less expensive motels but this was one of the worst.
