Rushmore Motel

Bought a fridge from Room 128 off Marketplace. Buyer stated it was cleaned for the most part and worked. I drove ten miles to your business to meet this resident of yours only to get a fridge that doesn't work and was filled with maggots. You know the door seal on the fridge that is rubber? Hundreds of bugs were dead inside that seal. I can't imagine the living conditions at this place if that's what I'm being sold from a stranger off of Marketplace. Just thought I'd make this place look good to others with this review due to my one and only experience with this place. 🤡

Friendliest staff you could imagine, lots of food close by, and close to downtown

The good: location is super quiet run down but relatively clean ok price decent staff The bad: first i thought I heard a rat but I was hoping I was making things up. Second night after hearing the scurry I saw one of them. They come up the old heating vents into the room. Also apparently sometime back there was considerable water damage that was never properly mitigated so the rooms smell terrible and if you have any sort of respiratory issues you’ll find yourself having a difficult breathing. Overall: there’s no doubt a need for inexpensive short term housing but Just because one is poor it’s hard to justify mold and rodents

This place doesn't even deserve a STAR. The classy lady that runs this place is RUDE! I will never ever recommend this place to anyone after asking for a new room due to mold growth in my room, she became defensive and accused me for their poor conditions. The issue is that they need to replace their exterior of their place, stuff is falling from second balcony where people walk and stucco missing and deterioration of the stucco and water leaking into the window sill. Anyways, my rant is done, if you love rude staff, weird people who wear long coats, and a moist moldy environments-you will absolutely fall in love with this place. I'd love to get a hold of the owner and show them the video of the mold take over and of the lady running this place being very rude to people.

I was greeted with friendly service however after paying $520 for two weeks, I tried to pay ahead & was told by April that I was paid until the end of March. I went back to my room & all of my stuff was gone & I was told I was behind $520. I kept my receipt but was unable to get it because my stuff was already in storage.
