Royal Mountain Campground

We checked in with ease, very warm and friendly gals working the check in and food stand. Got set up, started a fire and the owner came over to give us kindling from his clean up that day. Wish we could have stayed longer, it seems like an awesome place to stay!

Great little campground near many area attractions. We stayed here for both 4th of July and labor day weekends, both times the campground was very clean. We really enjoy site 16 as it is in between majority of the seasonal campers, our dogs enjoyed the peace and quiet of it!

Cute spot! Owners were very friendly. Invited our niece to join their kids birthday party and even left us cupcakes. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

It was a very nice, quiet and clean Campground. It was so great to have a clean shower after a long day and the ice cream was delicious too.

The extras at this campground are what make it stand out. Ice cream, food, RV’s to rent, cabins, etc. It’s like an all inclusive resort. But when we stayed there were a lot of barking dogs all day and loud groups of people around fires at night. You can tell this is the kind of place that has season long “regulars” and they act like the usual campground curtesy rules don’t apply to them.
