Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Johnstown

I had stayed at this facility several times. The first time was last year and they had put me on the first floor in a room next to the kitchen and laundry area. I was up all night long because the staff was doing laundry and in the morning preparing the breakfast. I had to speak with the staff and let them be aware of it. They did try their best but it was still an issue for me. The door was constantly slamming and I could hear everything through the walls. My second experience was excellent on the second floor and this is my third time on the third floor, was great as well. Overall I would rate this a four star. The only concern this last visit was that the internet was slow. Good value for the price. The breakfast was limited for those who prefer healthier choices. No fruit except gree

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I read a bad review about this place, and I have to say, this was not my experience at all. From the bad review, I was expecting combative staff and dry cereal for breakfast. The breakfast was standard for hotels, which was just fine with us. They even had a waffle machine, which my kids loved. I am gluten-free, which is a challenge wherever I go, so as long as my kids are happy, that is just fine.

Invigorating.. .the hottest and most powerful stream of water came from that shower head, that I have experienced anywhere. I could have washed dry dirty dishes in there, with no scrubbing. Comfort Bay toilet paper was substantial enough, I can see why someone might steal it. But please don't ... this is why we can't have nice things. (Do thieves read reviews?) Three bath towels, three hand towels and three washcloths were the most generous supplies I have found for a single bed room. But I was put off by the placard requesting we air dry and reuse them. Excellent stay and friendly staff! Appreciate the staff fixing a reservation error and the Manager working with me to resolve. Nice suite, good parking, and solid breakfast. Definitely recommend.
