Royal Inn - Hudson I-94

The outside doesn't look like much, but the room was great! Nicely remodeled and very clean. It is definitely a roadside motel, but it was absolutely perfect for my little weekend getaway to the Willow River State Park. The service at the front desk was so friendly, I felt very welcomed. I accidentally locked my key in my room while grabbing my bags and it was replaced with no issues. The location is great too; I got to do some shopping to pass time in the evening and had dinner at a local restaurant. I will definitely be back for my next trip to Willow River!

Based on the very good reviews, I decided to book a one night stay at this motel. All I can say is that those reviews were correct in their assessment of this hidden gem. Ability to park right outside your room, an extremely clean room, a quiet atmosphere, very comfortable beds, and a nice bathroom are qualities these rooms offer. No, this motel does not have a pool or free subpar breakfast. What it does offer is a very comfortable place to rest and lay your head down for a great nights sleep. I will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are clean and extremely well kept. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I've slept on in a motel. It shows that the owners take great pride and care of their business and want their guest to feel comfortable and rested. I would not hesitate to stay with them again!!!

Positive: The front desk staff was so friendly, they welcomed me back, even though it had been five years since I stayed there. Negative: There was really nothing about the hotel that was not on point, it matched the description perfectly

Don't let the outer shell discourage you. This place is comfortable and a great deal here in Hudson. The beds are super comfortable and the shower is superb. The office manager was very welcoming...even hooked us up with a bag of goodies on house. Highly recommend this place... I'd stay here again for sure!
