Hudson Inn & Suites

For the very reasonable price point that this hotel is, it is actually well maintained. The front desk staff are excellent, personable and very helpful. The only bummer about this place is that they closed their pool down in 2020 and do not plan to reopen it. So, if you're looking for a pool, this is not your place. Other than that, I had no issues at all. A good stay. I thought for the management: Perhaps convert the old pool space into a meeting space or banquet space. That sort of thing is badly needed in hudson, and I suspect you'd have a good return on investment.

If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Comfortable bed, nice pillows and soft sheets. Picked up a little highway noise, but nothing terrible. Room could use a little maintenance: chair needs to be cleaned and shower control was sticky. Close to downtown Hudson and many shops/services are close by.

Extremely clean room and entire place was also extremely clean and well maintained. Booking was easy, staff was very nice and accommodating. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was minimal/continental but everything was fresh. Price point and location are both outstanding. Will stay again.

I recently stayed here for one night as I was passing through on a work trip. From the outside, it looks to be an older hotel, but when you walk in, you can tell they are doing some updates with new flooring and making more modern (which is great to see). I checked in late, and the lady assisting us was extremely pleasant and very friendly. The room itself was good. The bed was a little on the too soft side, but honestly, it didn't prevent a good night sleep. You can tell they actually clean their rooms as overall was a very clean stay. The only downside is that it just needs a little updating but nothing major.

Where to start.. The mattress was terrible. Old style spring coil, maybe 4 inches thick? You’ll be more comfortable sleeping in your car. Wi-Fi.. Unsecured network but don’t worry about that because it’s unusable. You’ll get a solid 2.5 down and even less up. Takes 30 seconds to load a single photo. Not even worth offering. Be prepared to use a hotspot or your phone for any sort of internet connectivity. TV was from the late 2000’s, not docking points because of this just kind of wow’d me. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Just meeting the bare minimum. Better than the super 8 across the road but not my much.
