Place was good before 2022, since then has been an intake for vagrants and homeless. They sold their sole and reputation. I won’t stay here again along with the Rosevelt Hotel.
CORRECTION ABOUT ROOM SIZE - SEE BELOW We had a Deluxe City View room with 2 double beds for 2 adults, 2 children (teens). . The size of the room was comfortable for NY sizes. We had room to stow our luggage (we had 2 large pieces). This room was larger than the New Yorker, where we stayed a few years back - at that hotel there was no room for luggage and we were walking over it. It was pretty tight. This room was comfortable. Good TV quality, nice view. Room was quiet. I never heard anyone above us or rarely in the hallway. Staff was very nice and the housekeeping team was very helpful and friendly. The only thing I would comment on is that I noticed that the room was not vacuumed every day. I did leave a nice note requesting that it be done and it was (we often brought pizza home and n
Stayed in the Row NYC in April and wouldn't return. We were hit by a hefty facilities fee as we entered plus a large deposit which took ages to clear from pending post check-out. The hotel quite nice but also rather weird in some ways, the corridors were very dark and the smell of cannabis was very strong in the corridors. The water bottles and machines were a nice touch. Staff seemed friendly but didn't interact with them much. The security checks when entering the hotel reassured guests. The lobby was quite nice but some of the characters were a little strange at times and the hotels bar/cafe
The location of the Hotel is great, however the hotel isn't that good. First of all the rooms were very small and crowded, you barely had room to move if you were with someone. The bed sheets were absolutely terrible they were very rough and it felt like they had sand on it, utterly uncomfortable to sleep at. I have never had such a bad experience at sleeping Lastly the heating system, how does "The best city in the world" have an hotel with a Heating system from 1886 (Stated by a worker). The heater was way too hot and there was no way of turn it down, the only solution they gave us was to open the window with all the traffic noises.
Lots of false advertisement with the rooms. Super unkept, lots of things are damaged. Water pressure in the shower isn't good and the they put in the head at a bad angle so it's pointed towards the wall and not in the middle (hard to shower if you're shorter). There is little to no hot water as well, I turned it all the way to see how hot it would even get and it was room temperature warm max. The washroom we had was the smallest washroom I've ever seen a hotel have, there is basically one spot to step aka there is no taking any steps in the washroom unless you're going into the shower. The toilet itself is also pretty low to the ground. No mini fridge, had only two outlets in and one of them were very loose so it did not work easily. We got a Deluxe City View room, there was really no cit
