Rovers RV Park

Monthly stay park. Wonderful owners. Friendly residents. Great area. Wi-fi was good, laundry area with library. Bathrooms are clean, showers hot. Nice area by the river to sit and enjoy nature. Will definitely be back.

We booked two weeks here and received a good discount for doing so. We course this park purely for their advertised off leash dog area. We certainly were not disappointed! Our dog was in heaven! |The river front is just up river from Alsea bay and rises and falls with the tide. An important area for birds watchers. We were sitting on one of the benches and saw all varieties of birds(none of which I knew except the pair of eagles nesting in the evergreen tree on the river bank.|The park was great for us humans as well! Clean park and restrooms and laundry. Owners are attentive and very helpful with our random questions! |Spaces are plenty wide and all sites are gravel and grass with a cement patio and tackle. We loved the quiet there, but we were only 3 miles from 101. It is a go

10/10 would recommend staying here if you are looking for a great 1 month or more stay! Right on the alsea river and has a great walk out to the river with a dog park. We were working on contract for 3 months and it was the best price in town! Also has a great community of people who are committed to keeping the place looking good and looking out for one another! We hope to be back in the future if our contract work brings us out this way! The owners are some of the kindest people we’ve met and are great owners! Pet friendly and they have multiple sizes of spots for different rvs! We brought our 35’ fifth wheel and fit perfectly with options for 30 and 50A electric hook up!

This is our type of park. It is family owned with a quiet homey feel. The hook ups were very good. Wifi was adequate and 40 channels of cache included. Sites are spacious with room to park tow vehicle. This is all about location, sits right on Alsea River, view birds, elks, seals and put in your kayak right from the park. The ocean is only 3 miles away, with beach access up and down coast.

We LOVE this RV park!! It is small (no crowds), quiet, peaceful, free Wifi and lots of Cable channels, and charming. Highlights were the 2-acre leash-free dog area, the flowers and plantings, the view of the Alsea River and tidal waters from our rig, and the cleanliness of the park and bathrooms. The owners are very friendly and most accommodating. It is only three miles from Highway 101, the ocean, and the friendly town of Waldport. We love the location of Waldport - 16 miles south of Newport and maybe 7 miles north of Yachats. We will definitely revisit Chinook RV Park.
