Secluded off the beaten path group site. No services (internet) no hookups. Cute, nice secluded campground about four miles of the 34. Paved though. Cross a little creek and the camp site is all yours. Reserve. Not cheap. Vault toilets were very clean, even floor surprisingly with all the Pine needles and slight breeze. Stocked. Campground was clean and freshly mowed, you could tell someone’s working hard to trim or weed eat the blackberries and blow everything off. Much different than last few years we have been there. There is a small pavilion there. Never saw host though. Like other campgrounds.

You do have to be mindful of the bears ... they live there, are active and it is their home after all ... so ... awareness and precaution is necessary ... and in my opinion ... coexistence is the only responsible way to have everybody enjoy the surrounding campsites ... the older growth trees are to be admired and revered ... a wonderful place that has a different experience with the changing of the seasons .... just be aware you are in someone's house and you are a guest ... be kind ... be aware ... be mindful ... and environmentally smart .... It is an awesome place to camp and "be" apart of it all ....

Fantastic!!!! My kids and friends rent every year for almost 10 yrs over the 4th of July. Wonderful spot and the caretakers are fantastic and keep the restrooms spotless. Never had any troubles. Its close to the coast so you can drive right over and watch the fireworks.

this is a real nice place or it used to be before it became a money trap . used to go here all the time but the group only reservation killed it. Im an army vet and hate to see nice things institutionalized. Whoever did the law change sucks , law needs to be changed. Why can only people with lots of money go here ? Put in a army veteran as a camp host and stay out of my recreation areas . people that come up with laws like this need made to wear a mask with metered air that is paid for by the not rich .

Kind of stumbled across this place, it's a group campground, says reservation only but the gate was open. The creek runs around the outer edge, it's mostly maintained but expect to do some work if you drive there.
