Giant Alsi Resort

Positive: Worst experience ever. It could be so much better. Properly staff the location and set higher cleaning standards.i should have just left. Not worth the price. Negative: This place was creepy and I did not feel really comfortable here alone. They called me while I was driving to ask if I was still coming it was 9. Bad customer service on the phone and the place is gross. Limited check in hours!?!?

I have no idea what the bad reviews are about. This place is soooo cool. We were there in the office season so it wasn't busy but we absolutely loved this place. Newly remodeled rooms. Super clean. Bed was so comfy. Shower was amazing. Service was great but not pushy. Left us alone and we loved it. Had the best stay ever. Stayed for 4 nights and never had a single issue. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Thank you for an amazing time in Waldport

Hidden back behind a little housing community is a lost gem. Alsi is a fabulous, fun resort staffed with some of the greatest people. First we met Hector! He was so fun and helpful. He told us all about the place and the fun they have with karaoke, a great restaurant and bar. My husband and I were sold at having dinner there. We had some amazing drinks made by Joe. Joe is the sweetest women around. She made sure we had everything we could have wanted and things we didn't know we needed. Our dinner was good but I think the menu needs a little revamping. It's got good food but not something for everyone. After we got our food and hard another drink we started singing karaoke and having so much fun. The best part about this “resort” is you will not find any trouble parking because no one stays there. It was a last minute stay and a quick search for a hotel, this popped up, pictures looked decent for a one night stay. I failed to check reviews prior to booking - definitely should have. The place is wild and I’ve been in much nicer motel 6’s than this place. Beds are disgusting and either caving in or completely lumpy feeling every spring. The carpet is not hotel carpet, shaggy and nasty. This place is falling apart one drawer knob at a time. Claim to have a restaurant but it’s not open by any means. So don’t hold your breath thinking you’ll be able to get a meal Just don’t waste your money here.

The stay was quite an interesting one. First off, there's an eerie feeling when arriving at the hotel due to how few people there are. Now, Mid September may not be their busy season, but there was probably less than 5 other residents the entire time. While it does make the hotel feel off with how quiet it is, it is also nice with having not to worry about loud guests near you. Once I got into my room I found cobwebs covering the lamps, and inside where the switch is, as well as dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Both of my towels were dirty with hair, dirt and mysterious red stains. And of course there was a large black spider chilling in the heater and a smaller one in the shower.
