Handy Haven RV Park & Car Wash

Very friendly place. Not many RV spots but they were very spacious. Very clean from spots to the bathrooms. Everything was walking distance even the beach across the street. This park is a great choice.

This is a very small RV park. Most of the tenants are long term, but the park is clean and neatly kept. The owner, Dave, is on-site most of each day and very friendly and helpful. There are restroom/showers on-site and cleaned daily. They are not super modern, but are very clean and tidy. The lark is right in town, across the street from two restaurants, gift shops and laundry. We rented one RV spot and two camping spots, which were right behind our parking space. We had a grand time there for 10 days. Don’t expect fancy, but do expect clean and friendly. Thanks for the great time with my family.

I drove in to take a look at this small RV park. ||||The good:||The location is pretty good if you want to be within walking distance of practically everything in town. Some of the campsites have a partial view of Alsea Bay.||||The bad:||Nearly all the spaces are long-term live-ins. Some RVs have tarps over them, the spaces are not neat and tidy and there is a general air of being 'rundown'. I saw a couple of rigs that looked like short term visitors, but all the rest are permanent.||||In general:||The park is quite small and there is not much room for big rigs, particularly big trailers. I did not see any pull-thru spaces. The person attending the car wash was extremely pleasant and gave great advice on what I asked about. Did a thorough prewash, went in came out and he DRIED it! He did a wonderful job, I'm very pleased! I will return!

Plan on moving there some day. Very friendly and helpful people.... Up date....It is now my residance. Love it hear. Can walk to every thing in town. Quiet park with friendly. Neighbors. Restroons are clean and A car was close by. I can hear the ocean and see the bay.
