Route 62 Motel

I got into my room and EVERYTHING was covered in what looked like some unknown food. No toiletries are provided, the only thing provided was towels, a wash cloth, and two pillows.

Room was reasonably clean , sheets had some wear and tear. The owners are very kind people. I inspected pretty thoroughly for bed bugs and other pests and found no sign. A lot of the negative reviews are very overstated from people who are obviously very privileged and this hotel is much nicer than even some corporate owned motel sixes. It’s located right on a bus line that leads straight to University Station. If you are on a budget it is a solid option and the hospitality and clear communication provided makes it a much better choice than some other local hotels where staff can be very rude and unhelpful.

I was given a key and entered the room, but it was not cleaned yet. The maintenance guy came about an hour later, and apologized repeatedly. He provided towels and toiletries, offered to clean the room(which was not at all messy), and even offered me a new room if I would prefer. The staff here are incredibly friendly and responsive. The motel has been under new ownership for only a few weeks, and you can tell they are doing everything they can to make it a nice place. I would stay again.

Place is filthy. Advertising non smoking rooms but has none. Room was dirty, sheets stained, towels dirty, no toilet paper or wash cloth. Fridge was disgusting. AC doesn't work. No remote for TV. Tried the front desk but no answer. Had to leave half way through the night. .

I went into a room only because i am a cab driver, and i had an elderly lady in my cab with a reservation there, and she had luggage and other personal items to take into her room. I don't know the area there so can't really comment on location. The customer I had couldn't remember the name of the motel7 she was supposed to be going to, so i googled "motels near here" this was the second place i called, the gentleman i spoke to was very nice and helpful.
