Rosemont Suites

Wish I could give zero stars. I normally don’t leave reviews unless it is positive but this place is a disaster. We lost power for a couple of days and had to stay here for one night in an emergency situation. It was very late and I was tired from trying to get our generator going so I didn’t look up reviews or any info about this hotel. If I did, most reviews seem very fake anyway because a lot of them say how “clean” this place is. This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. Walking up the stairs, the kick plates were taped on with painters tape and the whole hall smelled like cigarettes and weed. There was no sign on the front of the hotel so I had to use maps to find the front door. That is when I saw a make-shift sign on printer paper that says the hotel name. I wish I had taken

Positive: "" Negative: The room was not clean. Windows were filthy. No hair dryer, microwave, or coffee. No smoke detector (wires in wall). Multiple patches on wall (seems to be in renovation mode?) No plastic cups for water/teeth brushing. Water is grey. Staff was fine.

We enjoyed our stay here! That’s probably hard to believe after reading the other reviews. We usually stay at Hilton and Omni hotels but, we were traveling so much in May and the hotels in the area were ridiculously expensive for some reason when we were planning to be there for a few days we decided to wing it and try something even our kids commented as weird. This hotel is definitely “old school” and the decor is as well. However, we have never had the cleanliness and caring we experienced with the wonderful people who now manage and my guess own the Rosemont Suites ever in our 40 years of traveling the US. I wanted to leave them a review because I was so impressed and started looking through the old reviews. They were awful and old. Then I looked up the property info to hopefully make

Don’t. Just don’t. Shoddy falling apart neglected property. Black mold on bathroom ceiling. Disabled locks on entrance door (which was held together with duct tape). Didn’t service room during stay. Weird scents from competing cleaners. No outlets on headboard wall means no reading lights. Good location and friendly desk staff but dreadful room.

STAY HERE AND RISK EXPOSURE TO BEDBUGS‼️ The rooms are filthy and ours was also unfortunately infested. The night of the incident, staff promised to cover the required at home treatment expenses. The manager then completely LIED, denying its employees promise and effectively rescinding the verbal offer when I sent Rosemont the invoice for pest control services weeks later. I left traumatized, with bites all over my body, and now am having to pay out of pocket for the costs of ensuring my own home didn’t get infested. All because Rosemont is refusing to take responsibility for their negligent upkeep of the premises, which clearly poses very serious health and safety concerns. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable—AVOID AT ALL COSTS‼️
