Rodeway Inn Whitehall

If I could give 0 stars I would. I arrived at this place late evening around 9:30-10pm and had a weird vibe as soon as I go there. The front door was boarded up from what looked like a gunshot into the window. When I walked in the guy working behind the desk could barely speak English and spoke very quietly. Who I’m assuming was his wife or mother and a young probably 2 year old were sitting in the lobby on the couch. The kid was running around and throwing things at me. I went up to my room and the halls all had a very bad odor. I walked in my room and it was pretty spacious but yet again had that same odor. I kind of just accepted it and immediately hopped in the shower because I had already had a long day. The bathroom was a little outdated paint missing very dirty glass and shower that

Towels looked like they had blood stains on them or were yellowed. The tub faucet dripped constantly, The tub drain was rusty. The inside surface of the tub was worn and blackened. The room was way too dark because, the two ceiling fixtures only had one light bulb in each (they were made for two 6- watt bulbs. There no lamps in the room except for the two on each side of the bed. The microwave was dirty. The fridge was set at the coldest setting and the freezer part was dirty. The bedding was ok. However, after I increased the temperature on the room to 70 degrees the smell of mold was coming from the pillows and the bed.

I am editing the review. My wife booked the room on-line with Expedia on Oct 11 2025. As required, she entered my debit card information. We arrived at the motel 25 minutes later. My wife went in and registered. She paid $88.79 CASH for the room. The attendant was very curt. Hard for my wife to understand.(non native - possibly Muslim) I now believe he considered it an insult to have a 4'5" tall Christian woman hand him cash money. He threw the room pass cards on the counter. No receipt for the $88.79 cash payment. No offer of wi-fi information, no information on the continental breakfast. Nothing. Simply told her to enter the building from a different entrance around the corner. We went to the room. 20 minutes later I received a phone call from the front desk demanding the immediate paym

I am extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of this establishment. The conditions are utterly unacceptable. I utilized 8,000 points to book a room, and the initial room was unsanitary, with unclean sheets and a strong musk odor. I politely requested a room change. Unfortunately, the second room was even more unsanitary, featuring a filthy carpet, an opened bar of soap, and, most disturbingly, toenail clippings on the bed and a sizable pile of toenails on the floor. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. If necessary, alternative accommodations, such as sleeping in one's vehicle, would be preferable.

Definately not somewhere youll want to stay, Most everything in room in disrepair. Sink ,shower,tile,window wouldnt latch etc. If you are planning on staying here i highly recommend staying somewhere else. There wer what appeared to me to be drug users around building several times,girls of the night in lobby and people "lresidng " at hotel. The room was only cleaned or should i say got any attention from maid crew once in 6 days i stayed here. By the time i checked out i had 9 towels that i had recieved from the cleraners in hallway but they never came to room to pick up or bring more so i had to find them to get clean ones.
