Days Inn by Wyndham Whitehall

I was worried after reading some of the reviews. When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the lobby and the kind welcome we received from the gal at the desk. Our bed was super clean and comfy. The heat worked great as well as the shower. The breakfast room was also clean and while we ate, the food was constantly being replenished by now a new gal who was also very nice and accommodating. The room could use a little updating, but the price made it well worth it.

We stayed here there weekend of 9/27/24 to fish in my old childhood river for salmon. We mistakenly left our cooler in the yard near the back of my truck. We left to get something to eat and left the cooler outside. When we returned after eating and the cooler was gone! Spoke to multiple workers and both “managers” on site to review camera footage to see who stole our cooler. I’ve been given the runaround by anyone I’ve talked to this far. It’s only a cooler but the way the staff and being given the runaround and even swore at by Hans (a front desk worker) very unprofessional workers and place and don’t make the mistake of leaving ANYTHING unlocked! The front desk people are really nice. Check in was easy and fast. The room was relatively clean & quiet. I mean really, really quiet! The only issue I had was the room needs a deep cleaning. The filters on the heater/AC unit were dirty and the window wasn't locked shut. (I was on the first floor facing the parking lot) I pulled the window open with ease. The price was ok but they charged my card right after midnight the day I was to arrive. I hadn't even checked in yet! Who does that?!?! For that alone, I probably won't stay again.

Clean room in satisfactory repair for a nice stay. Courteous staff and an okay complementary breakfast. Carpet had been shampooed recently, and the bed was super firm if you like that. Got a hair dryer, microwave and mini fridge, but the setup was awkward. Still a good stay.

If I could give no stars that would be great. I would never inflict this hotel on my worst enemy! The rooms were disgusting. We stayed in an executive king suite that had not been cleaned in about 6 months. The bed was the cleanest thing there. We had three small kids and had to have them on the bed the entire time. The floor has never been vacuumed. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub that had never been washed from the last 2000 guests that stayed there. Pubic hair all over the toilet seat. Mold smell in the room and the hallway stairwell has what looked like blood splatter. For 100 dollars a night I shouldn't have to clean the room myself. The floors of the bathroom were so dirty we had to put the towels down and the little ones had to keep their shoes on the whole time. Most disgusting expe
