Rodeway Inn Walterboro I-95

Stayed one night and had to stay in a stand alone strip of about 10 rooms, not even in the hotel itself. Outside my door there was a half decomposing dead cat the room smelled of cat urine, and No hot water.

The clerk was a very nice man. I asked for a king non smoking, got 2 doubles. Went back, got a king smoking. Went back, got a king ns. Missing bulb in R lamp, had to pull bed out to plug in the L side so that one would work. Light inside room didn't work, ice maker broken, fridge wouldn't get cold, peeling ceiling in room and bathroom, curtains were a real mess, stains on the pillow case although they were clean.

The grounds were littered. The room was a mix . the decor was mostly dated. The positives were that it was in a good location, very quiet. The registration agent was very friendly and pleasant.

Bed was comfortable but the floor needed better cleaning. Also a dead cat outside near the grass where my dog relieved herself.
