Rodeway Inn & Suites

This Rodeway Inn and Suites is located just south of Ithaca, NY, on busy Route 13. The hotel campus is a somewhat tired-appearing complex of units on a single story set in a wooded area. The individual rooms open into an enclosed hall entered from the parking lot and secured by keyless entry. The room, a standard king single, was nicely decorated in dark paneled wood, adequately lit. The bed was firm, comfortable and made with good quality sheets and accented bedspread. There was a wall mounted large panel TV, a small microwave oven, a small refrigerator and a desk with comfortable office chair. The bathroom was spotless and the usual toiletries were provided. ||The breakfast area adjacent to the hotel office was small, furnished with adequate small breakfast tables and chairs. The

Excellent stay. Inn has clearly been recently updated and was very clean. Beds were nice and squishy and the room was spacious. Breakfast was standard fare- We enjoyed it. Service was good and accommodating. Great location right near buttermilk falls and treman park. Overall a great stay that is affordable in the Ithaca area!

Not perfect but a very nice motel. Service was great. I had booked a regular king room online, but when we arrived, we were offered a free upgrade to a king deluxe simply because it was available. The room was gave the two of us plenty of space. The bathroom was big. Water was very hot and had decent pressure. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave, but don't rely on the freezer. It didn't freeze the little containers for our small cooler, but that was fine because there was an ice machine. The bed was comfortable, but there was of highway noise because of the location and design. It was a good value for the area. We would stay again.

appearance - it looks like an army barracks - needs a better appearance. We almost drove away when we first arrived. Fortunately, it was better than it looked. room cleanliness - there was an M&M on the floor the whole stay that was never picked up. There was excrement someplace in the room that I picked up on my slipper (later threw it out). breakfast - there could have used a more variety in terms of bagels (only plain) and bread (only white), and fruit (only bananas). overall - The motel did not justify the high rating. to me it more of a "fair" location. The price was more reasonable than others in the area but overall, we will probably not return.

Not sure where all of these good reviews are coming from! This place was run-down and not the cleanest. The price was shockingly high for a motel of this caliber. To be fair it was Cornell and Ithaca college move in day and all of the hotel prices were inflated. But $239 for this hotel was way too much. Staff was friendly, breakfast was fine with many options. But our sink was broken, there was a hole in the wall, paint was peeling, the curtains were old and dusty, and they gave us a room with an empty toilet paper roll! You get what you pay for. Next time I will shell out the $600 a night for one of the better hotels in the area.
