Rodeway Inn & Suites Branford - Guilford

Rooms are very clean and comfortable. If you want a nice stay for a decent price I recommend on that behave. However the staff I believe is husband and wife and I booked another day and was told I had to leave in the rain and come back at 3pm. The first hotel in history that has done that to me. I knew by the way the owner looked at me and claimed it’s a franchise when him and his wife are the owners. I say if your of color you will not feel invited at all. Please come at your own discretion and with your eyes open.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. The shower is excellent. I wasn't crazy about some of the paint selections, but when the lights are out, who cares. Big screen TV, small fridge and coffee maker. Comfortable for a few night's stay. Close to Stop & Shop, gas stations and Diners.

Hotel is dated. Only Ice machine is in the main office. No elevator. Parking was tight with broken down vehicles in the corner of the lot. Price was reasonable, but the bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable! The bathroom was dated and it felt like you were sitting on the floor while using the toilet. The door to the room had gaps letting insects into the room.

The hotel is very clean and the grounds are kept beautifully. The owner and his wife are extremely friendly. We have been staying there for years. My wife had left a hairbrush which would've been discarded at many other hotels, but the owner had it kept for us until our return. I can't think of a better value!

We found this hotel to be very nice. It is an older hotel so some people may not like it for that reason but we found it to be very clean and comfortable. In an area where prices are quite high it was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again.
