Rodeway Inn St George North - Near Pioneer Park

Positive: We quickly checked in, the bed was decent. Negative: This place advertised a breakfast, but there was no breakfast. There was no hand soap. I'm not sure things were cleaned, because a box of food was on the table from previous inhabitants.

Room was clean, at a great price and in a good location. However, the bathroom light was of such low wattage, it was hard to see. The jacuzzi tub - which didn't work because all the knobs were broken off - was very high and had to get in to. There were no tissues. There were no amenities available at the property - water, coffee, etc - and you had to walk several blocks to get to it. All in all however, the price was certainly great.

Not bad, good value for the cost. The fridge kinda smelled cause they probably need to deodorize them, but the amenities were about on par with what you would expect. The wifi worked alright. They didn't have any breakfast, but they do stock coffee in the lobby/check-in area in the mornings. Just powder half-and-half and sweet and low though. No sugar, stevia, powder or liquid creamer or any of that. Super low budget coffee station, but its something...

This place is disgusting. We stayed here in the past but wow, we won’t be anymore. The staff was nice but we paid $500 for a 3 day stay which is absolutely ridiculous. Our room was dirty, moldy and the shower head didn’t work so we couldn’t even shower. There was mold lining the shower. The sheets were stained in who knows what. The walls had drooping paint and water damage. One lightbulb worked. The room smelled so gross. The carpet was crunchy and so on. For the price we paid, we are very disappointed, especially where they don’t offer breakfast. I felt so dirty staying here, I’ve never been in a more ghetto motel. If I would have known, I for sure would have stayed at another motel.

Update January 2026: The neighborhood here is above average safe, and even more convenient than I'd thought. ***Original: This budget motel's exterior does look mad grimy, with cigarette butts strewn all over too. There used to be breakfast, and third party booking sites might still list that incorrectly. There is coffee in the morning. BUT wow, inside, my King Room I've found really great for budget lodging - simple but clean, with everything functional (microwave, fridge, TV, HVAC, plumbing, outlets, lights, bed, linens, and Wi-Fi), and no sign of insects. Of course, I've only seen this room in detail, so far. Staff I've encountered have proved helpful and upbeat.
