Rodeway Inn Hopkinsville

I stayed at this property recently and unfortunately found the experience to be far below expectations, especially as a Choice Hotels Platinum member. I believe management has an opportunity to significantly improve the guest experience if attention is given to several key issues. Cons (Areas Needing Improvement): Loyalty Recognition: My Platinum status was not acknowledged, and the front desk clerk seemed hesitant to accommodate my reservation. On top of that, I was charged extra for a non-smoking room and bed that I did not need. Room Condition: The room itself had serious concerns: a noticeable urine odor upon entering, stained bedding with cigarette burns, non-functional refrigerator, and stained curtains. This hotel has always fulfilled all of the accommodations. They have always made check-ins so easy and worked with you on providing city accommodations. They have some of the best rates in town I recommend staying here if you're passing through or moving to hopkinsville.

Positive: They gave me a bottom floor(my sister has had both Knees replaced). The location was convenient and the rooms clean. Negative: I put my granddaughter in the bath and sat on the commode seat lid. All was fine, I checked on her water, sat back down and the lid cracked. Wow, i did expect to pay for it, but they charged me $40 for it. Guess I should have made a trip to Lowes myself!

Host was not the best when I asked about the room! The place took my extra money for incidental when nothing was out of place! I did get videos, before and after! I couldn’t get in touch with them to ask why so, my bank will handle it!

The room was fine. I just have not been reimbursed for the $30 holding fee after four days
