La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hopkinsville

Jessica at the front desk is awesome! She was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. The rooms need updated and was told they are in the process of remodeling but the beds were comfortable and everything was suitable for the price. I will be definitely staying again.

I usually I’ve always had good experiences with La Quinta and or comfort Inn. This particular La Quinta had a lot going on. I’ve been a few times and it seems they are always remodeling something but yet never fully finish. I stayed a couple of years ago and the pool was under maintenance then. When I stayed this time, I noticed the pool is full of storage even though it’s advertised on the website as open or that they have a pool. That’s very disappointing as someone with kids it’s kind of something we look for when choosing a hotel to say at. Although I was disappointed about the pool and them still being under construction, The hostess or check-in lady It was very pretty, friendly, And very helpful with any accommodations I needed. Unclean! ||(Two rooms offered, neither clean!) There were French fries in the bed, trash on the floor, no pillows or blankets available to us (staff said there wasn’t any clean) No towels stocked, trash on the floor… if you want a clean, ready for guest room, this is not your place

Positive: Location is good and breakfast offering was great. Negative: Pool was closed (permanently it appears). The hotel was very dirty (carpets need cleaning, missing baseboard), etc. Room not clean: had missing grout and loose tiles in bathroom, several long hairs stuck to tub wall and on floor.

My stay was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Gym was nice and clean and had everything needed for a decent workout. For the price, it's well worth it.
