Rodeway Inn

Great value for a motel that exceeded my expectations. The rooms are a little outdated, and mine had a slight smell to it. That being said, it was clean and bug free. I would definitely stay here as the value, cleanliness, and friendly staff were above expectation for a Rodeway Inn.

SCAMMERS. After I was told I couldn’t cancel my reservation the day before my visit, I ended up trying to check in at 930 pm the day of my reservation.I still had an active reservation on the choice hotel website. I was told at the hotel my reservation was indeed cancelled and I could still get a room for TWICE the rate I booked on the Choice web site ( $200 as opposed to $100. ) I was told there would be a hold on my debit card for $500 for a $100 room. Customer service that night was not helpful. The person checking in behind me was told the same thing I was about “ not having a reservation but could still have the room for the full rack rate” . From the way the outside of the property looked and the awful smell at the front desk, I am glad I didn’t have to sleep there. DO NOT STAY HERE

If I could put zero stars I would, I booked this room through choice hotels which I am a member of…I showed up to be told I have to pay a 200$ deposit which I was never ever told about a head of time when I booked. The woman at the desk was rude told me I wasn’t allowed to have a room because I had too many kids..my in laws booked a room for the following day they paid the day we were checking in, we left my father in law called two hrs after he booked the room and cancelled it and still charged him over 200$. This place is a joke. The pool was nasty, customer service didn’t help at all. The people running it are rude and scam you out of money.

I don't even want to give a star...We were looking for a place to stay for 1 night we looked online prices were $283. We pull in the pool was green the place looked like it could be a place in a murder movie. I was checking for a room my fiance came in to double check the prices with the man he said $300 a night plus $200 on top of that, we said no we weren't staying the man said ok. I looked at my bank account this morning I was charged $338 for a place we did not stay at nor did I sign anything. We went to file a police station, the local police even do not recommend staying here. DO NOT STAY HERE AND GET SCAMMED!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend getaway. We had a good time being close to the natural settings of Erie and near the city. The Colony shops are close by too. The price of the hotel was reasonable then the higher priced hotels near the casino. We probably saved half what those hotels charge. Our room here at Bayfront was clean, comfortable, quiet and had hot water. We didn't see any bugs or signs of any. The staff was nice to us and there was no extra charges when it came to checkout. We would stay here again!!
