Rodeway Inn Enid South

Positive: The front desk lady was very nice. Negative: Odd location, sort of far away from most things. Even the nearest grocery store was not within walking distance.

Didn't feel safe. Big party Friday and sat night. Not 100% but thought I saw beginnings if a drug deal in parking lot late Friday night. Wasn't able to find parking Friday night due to big party. Was told by cleaning crew that there is parking in back. Checked that out Sat am since another party that night. Unacceptable parking and setup for me. I ended up leaving rodeway and checked into GLO downtown at a much more expensive rate in addition to the 57 I had already paid for Sat nite. I didn't ask for my money back and still tipped housekeeping I had my SNOOZE tag on room so no one would clean, but housekeeping still cleaned. Wasn't happy about that. I didn’t have great expectations but the bedding was 100% not washed. the amount of hair (obviously both pet and human) on both the top and fitted sheet was insane. The bathroom and everything else was decent but the one important part was the bed. i had to sleep on the towels as it was past lobby hours.

Most of the hotel has been condemned/shut down. Pool is in permanent disrepair . Spent entire first day washing all the linens and bedding including the mattress protector because they were disgusting. Also had to clean mold and water out of the fridge. Scrubbed bathroom. Door lock was broken. Wiped down desk and headboards with Clorox wipes. Bought a tote to store clothes from bugs. Favorite moments... feeding feral cats in the parking lot. Watching a couple daily hotbox with their two year old in the car. Taking a job interview in my car because the hotel was too sketchy to be on camera. Chatting g with the Enid police on one of their regular visits to the hotel about how unsafe and awful it was. They maintain they are there or the laundromat across the lot a few times a week

THE PICTURES ARE VERY DECEIVING! The hotel is abandoned for the most part except for one wing. The hallway has a horrible smell. The room was fairly nice for the price except for the unwanted company that came to visit. Hotel staff was very nice though.
