Rodeway Inn Cypress - Buena Park

I recently finished my two night stay here. Overall, the hotel is acceptable. The rates are pretty good and you get a room matching what you pay. Checking in, we thought it was strange they required a $100 cash deposit and wouldn’t accept a credit card hold. They did make an exception for us as we didn’t carry any cash. The room was fairly clean although the furniture has definitely see better days. There is an elevator onsite which was convenient to getting to our room. And the included continental breakfast was pretty decent and was the same as the brand standard. Overall, it’s acceptable for the price.

My room could have used a paint job, bed was uncomfortable, air conditioner didn't work right but other then that... The outside of here look good, safe, front desk was helpful, I will stay again and hope other rooms are better.... Really good for the price.... Not really close to freeway but I like the cost and safety here... NO smell of cig./pot smoke so I was happy about that alone. Breakfast was good. The room smelled clean and looked good

Best place we've stayed in, in months. Very decent breakfast, very clean and quiet rooms, with a huge comphy bed and pillows. We very much enjoyed our stay over and look forward to returning. A 100% recommendation for anyone. The place is adorable and the staff/owner were super kind and accommodating. The area is nice and quiet with some food and shopping near by.

It's a room but definitely not worth the cost. Good parking available for cars. Upon check in it should have been an indicator when we had to do business thru a small security window. A pleasant surprise was the room keys work great! Once in the room though was the let down. The door has next to no seal. It looked like it was still open when closed. The sink has a hole in it that drains into the overflow space so it doesn't leak but... we killed a few small roaches and fought gnats during our stay. Evidence of mold on ceiling of shower that looks like they had attempted to paint over. The "non-smoking" room had burn marks on the blanket.The floors had nice ceramic tile though. The nail in the coffin was the Hispanic club next door playing the very loud Mariachi type music until 2 in the mo

1. There was one control for the bedside lights.(which were over head) So the two people in bed reading had to agree when to turn out the light 2. There was no coffee in the room, I understand there was no statement saying there was, but it’s still disappointing. 3. There was no cup in the room so rinsing your mouth after brushing was messy…there was an ice bucket but no cups to put the ice in for a beverage if you brought one. The positives are, the bedding was fresh and clean (too very fat pillows) and the bathroom large and nice shower.
