Rodeway Inn by Choice Hotels

Dear Priceline Customer Service, I am writing to formally complain about a hotel stay booked through Priceline that was completely unacceptable and extremely distressing. From the moment I arrived, the conditions of the hotel were unsanitary and unlivable. The entire room smelled strongly of cats and urine. There was no heat, no towels, and no washcloths provided. The microwave, kitchen area, and refrigerator were all visibly dirty. The shower curtain had mildew on it, and overall, nothing in the room appeared to be properly cleaned or maintained. In addition to the poor conditions, the hotel staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful when concerns were brought to their attention. Positive: Less interference Negative: Level of cleanliness and washing of sheets. When the sheets are removed they are placed on outdoor ground. Stained towels, the mattresses are soiled in liquids and have many stains, there are roaches/roach nest in/above the shower, broken furniture.

Been to many hotels and motels and by far this was the worst. There were bugs crawling on the floor, a piece of trash, wet yellow liquids on the side of the tub, stains in the toilet. Foul smell.. I can go on. I have pictures for proof. Shouldn’t have even checked in when I saw a sketchy security guard with weapon outside. Got to my room, locked the door and there were 2 cars lined up with their lights on looking at my window. Was so scared I booked it to my car and left without even turning in my key. Those same cars followed me for a few minutes down the highway. Felt like a trafficking motel. Tried free cancellation on the website and got an error message. Tried to cancel it with a charge and got the same error message. When I called and explained the situation the front desk guy told m

The front desk employee is less than helpful. The room has plenty of roaches for everyone. Our double queen bed room only had 1 towel & 2 wash clothes. DON'T MOVE any furniture in order to find an electrical outlet. You'll find more than you were looking for. There were no garage cans in the room. I guess you just leave your trash in the corner & the roaches help themselves. Glad it was only for 1 night while passing through. Arrived later in the night & left early in the morning. You don't always get what you pay for. The room was cheap. It should've been cheaper.

I had called the main number to check to see if I was able to book a room if my family member paid and presented their ID. (My family member was in a different state) I was guaranteed that would be acceptable and the payment was taken. I went to check in and the employee was extremely unprofessional and belligerent towards myself and my family member. He stated that the main support number was absolutely wrong about the ID and he left. I stood talking with support in a merged call with my family member and they then stated that an out of town ID was not acceptable. But they kept the payment, denied the money to be refunded and left me to end up on the streets of Baltimore. I can't begin to express the horror of this. I understand that is a strong word but it is what it was. I stood in tear
