Customer Reviews
Though the room was clean and comfortable, there were some issues. 1. The microwave is old and difficult to use because the door did not function well. 2. There were no cups or glasses to use for beverages. 3. There was no plastic bag to use for the ice bucket and the lighting in the main building near the ice machine was poor. 4. There was no accessible restroom in the main lobby. When I asked for the bathroom, I was told I had to use the bathroom in the room which I had not yet checked into.
I dont even know how they are open. Absolutely disgusting. Sheets had hard glue like substance on them, a take out container from previous guests (not sure how long thats been there) toilet was so dirty that we debated on using the bush. Carpet had hard stains all over them, not even vacuumed. We were traveling through the area and it was midnight and everything else was booked. We had no other options but you do, BOOK ELSEWHERE!!!
We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. We spent exactly 10 seconds in the first room they gave us, as it smelled of wet dog and urine. Apparently the hotel is "pet-friendly," The second room smelled better, but it was also not clean, and the furnishings & linens were very old and tired. The desk/bureau combo looked like it was from the 60's and was wobbly. I can live with outdated, but NOT unclean! || ||The carpet and floors were so dirty, neither my husband nor I would put our bare feet on the floors (which can be tricky, when getting out of the shower). Speaking of the shower, there were hairs (from someone else) stuck to the shower wall. YUCK! The ice machine was broken and the "breakfast" offered was an unhealthy and sub-standard grab & go type, which they are still
Disgusting, dirty. Mold and what looked like fingerprint dust on things. Curtains had what looked like blood stains. Coffee pot full of mold. Tub had something down the sides with hair. I have photos and will be trying to reach out and speak to someone about a refund. We didn't stay there. Only good thing was no bed bugs and the bedding was clean. Towels were stained though. Person at desk barely spoke english and stated no refund you paid. We ended up staying in our car in order to go to a family reunion up there.
It is, and feels like, a cheap highway hotel. The shower smelled a bit and the breakfast hours and offerings were not great, and the queen bed room was small. But of everything in the "need-to-have" (AC and WiFi working, bed was adequate, fridge worked) vs "nice-to-have" category, the needs were met, and that's all a solo traveler would ask for the price he paid.
