Sawmill Campground

I've lived here almost 3 years now in my 5th wheel. Im a full-time camper. The campground offers: a game room, 2 individual bathrooms with free showers, free Laundry, playground, stocked fishing pond, tons of trails for, ATV, side by sides, horses or hiking. There's a camp store and on site propane refill. Each site has a fire ring and its a pet friendly campground. Pets must be vaccinated and on a leash. There are resident Ducks, deer and other wildlife to enjoy. The camp is not far from Shawnee State Park, Flight 93 Memorial, the Bison Corral here in PA and Rocky Gap Casino in MD. There's also Golf at Bedford Springs Resort, Bedford Elks, and Rocky Gap. Not sure if they're still open but I lived there for a few months last year and really I loved it. Chris the owner was kind and understanding, he worked with me when I had domestic issues that weren't my fault and he helped me dispose of the problem with the police. He never blamed me and helped me work with them. He let me stay. Other than the owner, I also enjoyed my neighbors. The yearlong live in ones were very friendly and helping. When I had problems with my camper, Chris helped fix it or had his hired workers help me. The price was decent, free laundry, free hot showers, free fishing in a stocked pond on site. It was a nice time all the way around. Wish I could have stayed. Would def go back.

Been here 6 years met alot of good people that I now consider family always fun it's a great place to get away and enjoy life

Me and my daughter love living here. It is very quiet and the other people are very friendly. Chris and everyone that works here do everything they can to help you with what ever you need. It is pet friendly, there is a laundry room and there are also showers on the property. There is a playground for the kids and a pond. Trails for quads also.

I wouldn’t give one star. The worst customer service I’ve ever had. Chris, the owner, was kind, then he wasn’t. It took two and a half hours for his “employees” to change a tire, as he stood there and yelled at them what to do. After spending quite a bit in cash, the camper was NOT ready to go. We shredded a tire not even a mile down the road. I called Chris to let him know we were coming back and I would be getting my money back. He then took a photo of my ID on his personal device and hurried to block me on Facebook before I could leave a bad review to hurt his business.
