Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Bedford

This hotel was clean did not smell like smoke. The beds were comfortable. TV was big enough to see had hot water included breakfast coffee tea. We were here two nights and oddly our beds didn’t get turned over but maybe we didn’t do something we were supposed to do not sure about that. It’s located, conveniently off the turnpike easy in and easy out. Couple restaurants, nearby, gas stations, that kind of stuff. The snacks in the lobby are ridiculously priced so hit Sheetz.

We completed early check in on the app and used our phone to enter the room. We were pleased to discover that our room was upgraded to a suite. Another nice feature was being on the back side of the hotel which made it quiet. The room was clean and we were greeted by music. There was a QR code to scan which put the remote for the TV on my phone. It was comfortable and relaxing. The location was great for visiting the local area. The only disadvantage was when we arrived and used our phone to enter the room, we had no contact with the staff since there was no visible person at the desk and when we left the next day the desk person was busy talking to a friend and didn’t even acknowledge us with a simple thanks for staying with us. We were traveling on vacation and needed a place to stop for the night, this Marriott property was perfectly located. The room was clean, spacious, complete with a separate area between the sleeping area and relaxing area. Add to this quality stay that the staff were friendly and... just nice people, a joy after 10 hours in a car.|There were plenty of food options right off the property, gas was real close by too, as was the turnpike entrance.||The ONLY complaint I have (as seems to be the norm these days) was the walls are thin. We could hear folks as they talked by our room. This is not the only hotel we've had this, so no points taken for it.

Thought the hotel would have been a good option due to its proximity to my plans. The hotel is directly in front of a cemetery which really doesn’t show on the map. There were also ladybugs in my room in December. The breakfast was ok. The bathroom needs some work.

Decent hotel, but DO NOT buy anything from the quick market they have. Outrageous prices. $5 (+tax) for a soda and almost $9 (+tax) for a bag of crisps/small package of pringles. I could not believe it, but when I called they confirmed that were the prices.
